The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of Decreto-Lei n.º 17/2018 of 8 March.

You will therefore benefit from all EU rights applying to packages. MNTRAVEL, TURISMO, LDA, NIPC 519460219, RNAVT n.º 13459, with registered office at Rua Manuel Marques Adegas n.º 39, Ponte de Sor, 7400-293, will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole.

In addition, as required by law, MNTRAVEL, TURISMO, LDA has protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, ensure your repatriation if it becomes insolvent.

• Travellers will receive all essential information about the package before concluding the contract.

• There is always at least one trader responsible for the proper performance of all travel services included in the contract.

• Travellers are given an emergency telephone number or contact point details so they can communicate with the organiser or travel agency.

• Travellers may transfer the package to another person on reasonable notice and possibly subject to additional costs.

• The package price may only be increased if specific costs rise (for example, fuel prices), if this possibility is expressly provided for in the contract and, in any event, no later than 20 days before the package begins. If the price increase exceeds 8% of the package price, the traveller may terminate the contract. If the organiser reserves the right to increase the price, the traveller is entitled to a price reduction if the relevant costs fall.

• Travellers may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee and receive a full refund of payments made if any essential element of the package, other than the price, changes significantly. If the trader responsible cancels the package before it begins, travellers are entitled to a refund and, where applicable, compensation.

• Travellers may terminate the contract without paying a termination fee before the package begins in extraordinary circumstances, for example serious security problems at the destination likely to affect the package.

• Travellers may also terminate the contract at any time before the package begins on payment of an appropriate and justifiable termination fee.

• If, after the package begins, significant elements cannot be provided as agreed, suitable alternatives must be offered to the traveller at no extra cost. The traveller may terminate the package travel contract without paying a termination fee where services are not performed in accordance with the contract, this lack of conformity substantially affects the package's performance and the organiser fails to remedy it.

• Travellers are also entitled to a price reduction and/or compensation for damages where travel services are not performed or are improperly performed.

• The organiser must provide assistance if a traveller is in difficulty.

• If the organiser or retailer becomes insolvent, payments will be refunded. If the organiser or retailer becomes insolvent after the package begins and transport is included, travellers' repatriation is guaranteed. MNTRAVEL, TURISMO, LDA has insolvency protection with the Fundo de Garantia de Viagens e Turismo. Travellers may contact this body or, where applicable, the competent authority (Turismo de Portugal, I.P.) if services are refused because of the insolvency of MNTRAVEL, TURISMO, LDA.
